College Hill Custom Threads
Brand, Graphic, Print, and Web
As I moved into leadership at College Hill Custom Threads, I decided on a rebrand. The company was within its first two years, so the rebrand was not drastic, but was definitely welcomed. The original style was dark and masculine with heavy use of diagonal stripes. I wanted to implement a feminine feel to our designs. Sorority women were a higher sales target for our team. A teal somewhere between mint and cyan was an original brand color among our competitors and would stand out in a grungy and dark brand. I also implemented more curves into the collateral to appear more casual and welcoming.
Here are a few of the early print elements that incorporated these ideas — hangtags, promotional postcards, business cards, flyers, and street team stickers.
